Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K760

Powered by light—inside and out

Say good bye to battery hassles, this wireless keyboard is powered by any light low light and lamp light, indoors and out. Fully charged, it works for at least three months even in total darkness.

I purchased the Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K760 from Best Buy around September 2012 and I have nothing but good things to say about it. I love the fact that I do not have to worry about batteries because it runs off of the light in my office.  I also love the fact that I can use it between three of my devices by simply hitting the the quick switch keys. I am able to use it on my iMac, ipad and iPhone by with a simple click of a button. I would highly recommend the Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K760 to anyone looking for a keyboard that will no longer need batteries and the ability to use it between multiple Apple devices.

I would love to here your thoughts on the Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K760

Magic Jack Call Forwarding Link

I have a few Magic Jack Numbers and for all of them I use the Call forwarding feature a lot, well recently I noticed that when I log in to my magic jack account that the call forwarding link under the call features tab is missing, so I contacted customer service live chat and they provided this link that will direct you to the call forwarding page. I hope this helps https://web06.magicjack.com/my/call-forwarding.html

Magic Jack Closed My Account

Another BIG Disappointment from Magic Jack

Beware of Magic Jack and their shady practices and horrible customer service. Magic Jack has canceled my account for non use and I still had time left that I paid for how can they get away with this?

Magic Jack disappoints once again, well today I found out that a number I had purchased through Magic Jack was deactivated and I had no idea why because I had paid for the service and had about 6 months left, so I contacted Magic Jack through the online chat which is the only way to communicate with this company I have included the chat log below. I use this number for a business I own and never plug it in but rather have the number forwarded to my cell phone and I guess because I have not plugged in my magic for a while they decided to deactivate my number. I do not understand how they an get away with this because I paid for the service and whether or not I use it is completely up to me. My only option was to reactivate a new number and pay for an additional year, so I am writing this to inform other Magic Jack users out there that if you do not use your Magic Jack for a undetermined amount of time that you can lose your number so beware of this companies shady tactics to steal your money. Keep in mind the number I lost was being used, but it was a forwarded number to my cell phone, so now it is gone forever because Magic Jack decided I was not using it or did not need it anymore, which was not the case.

And to think I was going to buy stock in this company, if they keep up these shady practices they will not be around much longer.

Live it with Charter rewards Program (Scam)

Live it with Charter rewards Program What a JOKE!

Ok so I really like my internet speed from Charter, but they have this ridiculous program called Live it with Charter where you earn points to buy things at exclusive prices, so I decided to check it out. I decided to take a few minutes to see if it was even worth my time and within minutes I realized that it is a big waste of my time. I first went to the choose rewards section and clicked on the Charter store, and the items are so ridiculous I literally LOL’ed they have awesome items like 2 way splitters, and cables; WOW thats really cool. Then I checked out their their Bid for it section and there was nothing available to bid on. So the last thing I checked, and this is the real kicker. I check out the Live it Outlet (WHAT A JOKE) here is what it says on this page: “Turn your points into discounts! At the Live It Outlet ™ you can use your points for big savings off retail on select products throughout the year. These are exclusive discounts available only to Live It with Charter ™ members. New products are featured every month, so act fast and check back often to find items like electronics, jewelry, cookware and more. Every item includes free shipping!” WOW what a joke I was actually looking at getting a Radio Flyer My 1st Scooter for my daughter which would have cost me $67.04 + 268 Live It points, yeah you can redeem point and then pay a higher price for the item of your choosing, so I did a quick google search and found the same item at Target.com the Radio Flyer My 1st Scooter for only $33.79 which is half the price that Charter was offering it to their exclusive members, and guess what I didn’t even need to earn reward points to buy it from Target. I am seriously shaking my head right now at Charter, shame on you Charter for trying to take advantage of your customers, so for you customers out there who decide to use the Live it with Charter program for your so called exclusive deals I hope you actually save some money, but I strongly suggest that you do a quick search online to make sure you are not being taken advantage of by this AWESOME REWARDS PROGRAM.

The last thing I would like to say about the Live it with Charter Program is thanks for giving me a good laugh and something to write about. LMFAO

Here are some snap shots I took to show you the price of the Radio Flier price difference on the Live it with Charter web site and Target.

The First Image is the Exclusive deal from the Live it with Charter Program.

Live it with Charter Scam Rip Off

What a Great Deal. LOL

This is the price I found on Targets web site. 1/2 the price and its not even an exclusive deal. LOL

Magic Jack Customer Service is a Joke

I have had Magic Jack for about 3 or 4 years now and I love the price and the service works pretty good for what I am using it for, but getting support can be a very frustrating and exhausting task. I have attached a text support chat below. I had to call twice and speak with two separate agents for one issue I needed help with. I will also admit that this issue was partially my fault to a certain extent, although the MagicJack web site is not very clear and is easy to misunderstand with the way it is written, but in my defense I wanted to call MagicJack to clarify what I did not understand on their web site, but MagicJack which is a phone service provider does not currently offer phone support. Please keep in mind that I do really like Magic Jack and I would recommend it to my friends and family, but I would have to say that they need to work on their support especially adding phone support to make things easier.

(Here is my first chat with a MagicJack rep which took about one and a half hours and no resolution just circles) Continue reading “Magic Jack Customer Service is a Joke” »

Canon pixma MX700 will not print without replacing ink problem easy fix.

Canon MX700 quick print error fix.

Canon MX700 quick print error fix.

Easy quick fix for Canon MX700 replace ink cartridge error

How to fix: Hold the Stop/Reset button and then press the OK button.

That’s it, it should reset the error message and you should be able to print your documents without having to replace the ink that you did not need at that time.

I was recently trying to get my Canon MX700 to print a black text only document, but it would not print because I need to replace my magenta and cyan ink cartridges, so I want online and found a forum telling me to unplug the printer and hit the power button and then open the tray and a few other steps I tried this twice and nothing. So I messed around with my Canon mx700 and found this quick fix please let me know if it works for you as well.

BestBuy Rewards Program

I have been trying to gain access to my BestBuy reward points for 3 months now and I still can not get in to my account. I have called the Best Buy reward customer service 5 times and every time they have sent it to the advanced team to help me to get this resolved and still nothing has been done. I have two rewards certificates totaling in the amount of $25 and I have no way of using them. I was also told by the reward zone customer service that I could just take the certificate numbers with the experation date and a 30 digit code to the store and I should be able to use them in the storem, but I have tried this twice and the employees never know how to input the information so I can use the certificates. I even called the rewards zone customer service when I was in the store and then the rep contradicted what the last rep said and told me that I cant use them in the store. I called again today 05/16/2011 and again they could not help me and I was told again that I could use them in the store, but I bet if I go to the BestBuy store they will tell me again I cant use them, and I bet if I call from the store again they will tell me the same thing. I am begining to think they are telling me I can use the certificates in store so that I will go and buy the item in store and then when I am tol I cant use the certificate then I will just buy it any ways this way they make more money. I am sure this is not the case but I can say one thing for sure this is really annoying and I have literally wasted 5 to 10 hours of my life trying to get these certificated, so in the end I am losing money from all the time I have invested.

Remote Control Warehouse Review

This is my personal review about Remote Control Warehouse I would love to here you personal reviews in the comment section below.

I would not recommend Remote Control Warehouse

Web Site Address: RemoteControlWarehouse.com

I did not receive the Remote Control I ordered.

This is the remote control I ordered

This is the remote control I ordered

The remote control I recieved

This is the remote control I received

I ordered a replacement remote control for my Mitsubishi TV here is the item number and link  MITSUBISHI 290P116010 Remote Control the price seemed like it was to good to be true, and as usual I think this was the case. I received a remote control today and it was not what I ordered. I ordered an original Mitsubishi replacement remote, but instead I received a no name brand remote control that does not work very well. I was willing to keep the replacement remote if it worked fine, but the buttons are non responsive unless pressed really hard and the quality of the remote was very cheap, almost looked like a child’s toy.

I sent them an email requesting a refund here is a copy.

———- Start Email ———-

I have received the remote control, and I am not satisfied with it, because it does not work as good as I expected, and it is not what I ordered. I would like to return it for a full refund. Also I do not feel like the return shipping charges should be my responsibility, since this is not the remote control that I ordered. Furthermore I own a website called remembertheconsumer.com where I write articles about my experience with product and or services, and I was really hoping to write a good article so please don’t make this difficult.

Thank you

Also if you do not have the item in stock, then you should notify the customer and give them options rather than just sending a cheap replacement remote, and hoping for the best.

———- End Email ———-

The Ending Result

I called customer service the next day, and spoke a a guy who seemed like he was working out of his home, because he answered the phone “HELLO” and I had to ask him if this was RemoteControlWarehouse.com; he replied “yeah”, so anyways I told him that they sent me a remote control that I did not order and I wanted to return it, also I did not feel like I should have to pay for the shipping fee to return it since it is not what I ordered, so then he says “just slap like two dollars worth of stamps on it and we will credit it back to you when we receive the remote back”. I asked him if he could send me an email as proof stating that they will return my full purchase amount plus the shipping cost, and he said “I don’t see why you would need that”, so I told him it would just make me feel better, so he said he would, and he never did. So I sent the remote back and a few days later I did get a refund for the purchase amount, but they did not credit me the return shipping cost as promised, so I am out of pocket by $2.83 and about an hour of wasted time for dealing with this company, so I do not recommend RemoteControlWarehouse.com also just to mention I never received a response from them in regard to my email I sent them.

January 31st 2011 Update

Today I received a call from RemoteControlWarehouse.com customer service and they just wanted to follow up with me to see why I returned the Remote control, and also to advised me that they would return the shipping charges I had to pay to return the remote control. I checked my account today and they have credited my account for the purchase price, but not the shipping fees yet, so I will update this post if I get the shipping charges reimbursed.

Here is a copy of the RomoteControlWarehouse.com return policy.

100%, no questions asked, no hassle, 30-day return policy. We want you to be completely happy with your new remote. Call us at 1-800-221-1471 M-F 9-5 Eastern time with any questions regarding the use of your remote.

My Message to RemoteControlWarehouse.com

If you do not have the remote control in stock that a customer has ordered from your website, then you should notify the customer and give them options rather than just sending a cheap replacement remote, and hoping for the best.

If you have ordered from Remote Control Warehouse I would love to here your feedback.

2 Year Warranty on the Logitech Quick Cam Vision Pro

Logitech offers a 2 years warranty on the Quick Cam Vision Pro Web Cam

Logitech QuickCam Vision Pro Web Cam

Logitech QuickCam Vision Pro Web Cam

I think Logitech customer service is one of the best and should be replicated by others. I have had my Logitech QuickCam Vision Pro web cam for Mac for almost two years now in fact I purchased my QuickCam Vision Pro on November 25th 2008 and I called today November 9th 2010 to do a warranty exchange, because my Quick Cam Vision Pro web cam stopped working about a year ago when I upgraded my Mac operating system to Snow Leopard. I have tried many different thing to get this web cam to work, but nothing seemed to work so I called logitech and found out that they offer a 2 year warranty for this web cam, so I spoke with a nice girl by the name of Caitlyn and she made the process very simple she just asked me what happened and if I still had the proof of purchase, so I told her what happened and I did have the proof of purchase, so she took my information down, and just like that I have a new Logitech Quick Cam Vision pro web cam on its way to my house the process was simple and fast. I think the total time I spent on the phone with Caitlyn was less that five minutes, now that’s world class customer service from a company that stands behind their product. I can tell you this much for sure, as long as the customer service and warranty for Logitech products never change I will remain a loyal Logitech Customer for life. I highly recommend Logitech to anyone looking to buy any accessories for their computer, because I have experienced nothing but good customer service and excellent product warranties that are back 100% by Logitech.
